Sample Inspection Report

At Higher Rock Inspections, I provide you with an inspection report that is easy to understand. I am careful to distinguish between major and minor defects and always available to answer your questions. Also, you can expect your report within 24 hours of the home inspection or by the next business day if the inspection is performed on a Friday. I include plenty of pictures and clear descriptions to explain my findings, along with any necessary recommendations. This insurance inspection was limited to the property (slope and drainage), home exterior (siding, doors, windows, deck, stairs, and ramp), and roof. I also documented the condition of any observable plumbing, ductwork, and structural components in the crawlspace. My standard home inspection considers all of these components and much more. In addition, it considers the condition of the interior such as walls, ceilings, and floors, windows and doors. I look closely at plumbing, electrical, HVAC, structural components, insulation, ventilation, attic areas, basement, stove/fireplace, all finished and unfinished spaces alike. I document the functionality of these systems and any defects that I observe.

On every inspection, I spend hours inspecting the home from top to bottom and hours more developing the report after leaving the home. My aim is to provide my customers with the very best home inspection and report I can.
